Steve Weller selected to serve as PA Motor Truck Association’s Driver of the Month

We are thrilled to announce that Steve Weller has been selected by a panel of 3 judges, all of whom work on the enforcement side of the trucking industry, to serve as PA Motor Truck Association’s Driver of the Month for April 2014! Steve’s career as a CMV professional driver spans nearly 4 decades, and touts a 38 year accident-free record. He began driving professionally in 1976, pulling bulk tankers to dairy farms for HJ Culler. He remained a loyal employee for the Culler’s until the business closed at the end of 2005. Still proving his loyalty, Steve made the move with many of his coworkers to The Diamond Group at the start of 2006 where he ran dedicated freight for JLG Industries. At the end of 2009 when The Diamond Group closed Steve, once again made the move along with the JLG account, to A&S Services Group. He remains a very integral part of the JLG Industries account, and a treasured member of the A&S Services Group family.

In mid-December, Steve and his wife Barbara, will attend a luncheon in Harrisburg with 11 other Drivers’ of the Month from PA. The luncheon, put on by PMTA’s Safety Management Council, is an annual event at which time each of the 12 people selected to represent a calendar month, will be recognized and honored for their achievement. The culmination of the luncheon will be the announcement declaring which of the 12 honorees has been chosen as PA’s Driver of the Year for 2014.

Please join us in celebration of Steve Weller’s accomplishment by congratulating him, not simply for this great honor, but also in recognition of his distinguished career in the Trucking Industry! Steve, we are all so proud of you!
